What is June Dairy Month?
June Dairy Month is a nationwide celebration that recognizes the contributions of dairy farmers and highlights the importance of dairy in our daily lives.
Kentucky dairy farmers are at the heart of local agriculture and community life.
Why It Matters in Kentucky
In Kentucky, dairy farming plays a vital role in supporting farm families, strengthening rural communities, and contributing to the state’s agricultural economy. Dairy producers work year-round to provide high-quality milk and dairy products while maintaining a strong commitment to animal care, land stewardship, and sustainability.
What You'll Find Here
Throughout June Dairy Month, the Kentucky Dairy Development Council has partnered with KYProud and the University of Kentucky MarketReady division to highlight local value-added dairy producers from across the state. These profiles provide a closer look at the people behind Kentucky dairy and the impact they have in their communities. We look forward to expanding this beyond value-added producers in the near future.

Today they bottle non standardized whole milk, naturally higher in butterfat than conventional, alongside chocolate milk, half and half, seasonal flavors, and house made ice cream.
